The aim of this education is to understand the world with its current major challenges such as climate change, migration, technological development, social contrastsin a new and comprehensive way – including the transcendental dimension. Documents from the churches, religious communities and politics serve as a welcome and solid foundation. We believe that our planet Earth and the entire cosmos are creation. That is why we stand up and speak out in favour of: … a world from which natural resources are taken cautiously, so that they will continue to be available for future generations. … an economy that allows every competitor to exist and pays all employees a living wage. ... a caring cooperation that recognises the rights and dignity of individuals and enables them to live in freedom and security. … a meaningful view of life and the world that creates wonder and joy, mindfulness and respect as sources of values and responsible behaviour. … an education which takes these issues seriously in all subjects and all religions and leads to a global future-oriented consciousness. We confirm this not only with our signature but also through our concrete thoughts and actions in the personal and institutional sphere. Presented at the certification ceremony on 12 June 2017 and at the Youth Climate Summit in Katowice on 23 November 2018
